Maple Simple

    Digital nomad with simple solutions

A year ago, I made a list of 10 things I would do if I were stranded in New Zealand for six months.

The list was long and hard to keep up with, but I finally decided to make it up as I went along.

There are, of course, many things that I wouldn’t do, but it’s important to point out that there are some things I absolutely, positively would do.

I would travel to New Zealand and do it all over again, in the same way that I would have done it if I hadn’t been stranded in Canada last year.

New Zealand is an amazing place and I wouldn://t miss it.

It is a country that has an incredibly rich history and cultural traditions, and I would love to spend time here.

If I lived in the United States, I’d probably still go back.

And of course there are plenty of places that are great for adventure.

    I wouldn.

But let’s get back to the list.

It would be an absolute nightmare for me to stay at the top of the list for months, let alone for six.

The top 10 things that would definitely not be possible are:1.

Going to an open air bar and eating at one.2.

Going camping at one of the many national parks in the New Zealand National Park and spending all day in the shade.3.

Going on a hike and hiking to the top.4.

Doing a hike in the rain with the family.5.

Eating at a bar and sitting in the sunshine, enjoying a drink and watching the sun go down.6.

Going for a walk in the morning with the dog and then walking it all the way home with the child.7.

Doing the classic ice bucket challenge at one location in the national park.8.

Being a tourist with friends and family.9.

Being an active citizen in the city and seeing the sights.10.

Watching the sunset from a balcony in the park.

This list is just a snapshot of what it would take for me, and hopefully some of you, to live the New Zealander dream.

If there are any other places that I’ve overlooked that I think would be a lot easier for me if I was stranded in, please let me know in the comments below.

It’d be amazing to get to know the country I love.
