A new National Mall at the corner of the Grand Canyon and Arizona State University will open to the public starting Sunday, and it will be open for National Donut Day.
The new national park, known as National Donuts National Harbor, will be the largest park in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, the largest in the United States, according to the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.
The Grand Canyon National Park is the largest national park in Utah.
The National Mall, named for the United Nations headquarters, is located at the northwest corner of Arizona State’s campus.
It was opened in 1891, and the first national monument was created in the National Park Service’s Grand Stable District in 1918.
The area that is now the National Mall will include a new restaurant, a museum, a theater, a shopping mall, and other attractions, according the park’s website.
It’s the third time the Grand Chairs will be closed, according a news release.
Last year, the Grand Donut and Donut Shoppe were open, but they were closed in December because of a weather-related closure.
The park is expected to reopen in March 2019.
