Posted September 06, 2019 08:02:36 A national auction has been announced for the nation’s largest national monument in Queensland.
Sculpt nation is the second-largest national monument, after Mount Isa, and the first of its kind in Australia.
Its planned to be opened in 2019, with more than 300,000 visitors expected to descend on the site in 2019.
“We’re thrilled to be working with the Australian government on a national monument that is open to all Australians,” Sculpt Nation Chief Executive Officer Matt O’Sullivan said.
“This is a unique opportunity to celebrate our national history and to give a boost to the local economy, both locally and globally.”
The national park will provide the most significant economic boost to our communities for decades to come.
“Mr O’ Sullivan said Sculpt nation was looking forward to seeing a massive number of visitors in 2019 and the park’s development would also be “a catalyst for a host of new and exciting opportunities for our community”.”
The National Parks Authority has been working on the park since it was established in 2013.”
We’re excited to be supporting the creation of this unique national monument.”
The National Parks Authority has been working on the park since it was established in 2013.
Scullion Nation is one of the first National Parks to be built in Queensland, following Mount Isa.
It was announced last year that Scullion National Park would open in 2019 with more 500,000 people expected to visit the park over the next 10 years.
The park has attracted some of the world’s most celebrated sculptors and designers including Frank Lloyd Wright, Frank Gehry and the late Australian sculptor David Ainsworth.
The national monument will be known as Scullions Park, after the artist who created it.
