Discover the greatest design HACK ever!
Nov 23, 2019
When working on a new design, logo design, cover photo design, and even when designing a new website- success is all about the color combinations you use.
Finding the write color combinations for logo, website, or cover- can be made super easy- if you just use a photo!
Finding the right color combinations for a logo,
a website, or any digital art,
can be made easy by scanning an appealing photo of it’s colors.
The process is simple-
you find out the HTML color codes from a photo
using online HTML color finders like:
HTML Color Codes.
Using this free tool I have made 18 color combinations
that would be great for your logo design,
website design, or any other graphic design project you need.
First Set - Ocean theme 4 color combos

The first 3 color code palette sets I made, were from sea/ocean photos.
Oceans and bodies of water are naturally calming to most people, and have interesting colors embedded in the photos.
These color combinations would be great for a logo design, a website design, or any graphic design, for companies and brands that sell:
Nautical decor
Products for fishing/sailing
Vacations & Beach resorts
These colors are also great for people who make jewelry with seashells, or who sell any handmade item – made in a beach city.
A lot of people also like using ocean color combos for nurseries and bathrooms.
second set - Coffee theme 4 color combos

Moving on to one of my favorite things in the world- COFFEE!
Coffee color combinations are (obviously) the best colors to use for any business that surrounds COFFEE-
Coffee bars, small coffee shops, products made with coffee, etc.
However, coffee color combinations are often used in organic products- sustainable products- or on DIY blogs.
They are great colors to use for the professional freelancing industry- as many online freelancers associate these colors with what gives them their MOJO throughout the day!
Notice- i did not only use coffee-colors in these 4 color combinations, but also colors that were in the photo- creating a color palette that reminds you of coffee- but isn’t coffee.
third set - Forest theme 4 color combos

Forest color palettes are great for so many companies/brands!
They are used widely in companies and websites selling environmentally friendly items, or any sustainable item.
People also use them when promoting shops that sell items made from wood, or handmade items made by someone living in a wooded area.
These colors are great for people who “can’t seem to find a color” due to selling something that is gender neutral.
They are great for DIY bloggers, people selling hand-crafted furniture, and even used in the tourism industry by resorts and places located between forests and mountains.
Fourth set- gold theme 4 color combos

Show me the MONEY !!
Luxurious color palettes based on photos of gold!
Let’s start with the obvious- these color combos from photos are great for anyone selling gold jewelry.
However, they extend far beyond the jewelry industry!
Gold color combinations are widely used by museums around the world, or private galleries, meant to symbolize the LUX vintage golden frames that oil paintings used to come in.
Gold color combos are also used by Law firms & CPAs- meant to symbolize high quality and exclusive services!
Combining the gold colors with darker blues- creates that VIP feeling- for lux membership cards, eye-catching opportunities- and even for the biggest LUX event of the year- New Year’s Eve!
Using the brown shades from gold photos- you can create a warm and earthy feeling, great for crochet projects, leather accessory shops, and more.
fifth set- sunset theme 4 color combos

Warm, natural, and inspiring!
To get these feelings from a blog/design you make- use color combination from photos of sunsets!
There are so many options for sunset colors, and really- you could create 200 color palette combos from different sunsets in different places in the world.
Sunset colors are amazing for makeup companies, companies selling natural ingredients items, or for places that are usually open in the evening!
The reason for that is due to the natural pastel shade you can extract from sunset photos- dark pastels and bright pastels.
You could also use them when writing about tourism, nature, or home improvement.
sixth set- spring theme 4 color combos

Sprint color combinations from photos will help you create pastel color palettes faster than anything else!
These unique pastel color combinations are great for:
Nursery design, shops that sell baby products, calming signs, and for waiting room decorations.
Some people also like using them for more “unpleasant” places, like a dentist’s office, to remain clear and bright- but without the frightening “all white” feeling you get in most clinics.
These colors are also great for mom-bloggers, people who blog about gardening, and for any place that is meant to be quiet and relax- like a spa, or a retirement home.
These 18 color combination sets are just a small
example of what you can get when
extracting HTML color codes from a photo.
To try it yourself, go to HTML color codes from photos, upload a photo
from your computer, and scan the colors on it.
Combine with 000000 (black) or with ffffff (white)
when you need to combine background & text.
Have fun designing!
